Pat describes this book as, "a shameful piece of my sordid past."

This is a collection of humor columns Pat wrote for his college paper between 1999 and 2003. Columns dealt with pressing philosophical issues such as the fast zombies/slow zombies debate as well as everyday problems like how to bribe your professor or start a career as a prostitute.

The book is full of illustrations by BJ Hiorns, one of the two guys that illustrates the blog. It also contains annotations where Pat explains how some columns got written, the lies he told, and what sort of trouble various jokes got him into.

This was Patrick's first published work, and only 500 copies were printed, so the Guide is hard to come by these days.

These copies are signed by both author and illustrator and each includes a unique doodle from the illustrator.
